East West Hospitality awarded management contract for residences at Hawai’i’s Mauna Kea Resort
Vail, CO. (July 24, 2018) – East West Hospitality is pleased to announce its management engagement with Mauna Kea Resort on the Island of Hawai’i, Hawai’i.
In partnership with Prince Resorts Hawaii, East West Hospitality will lead Mauna Kea Resort’s property management division, which is being rebranded as the Mauna Kea Residences.
Located on the Kohala Coast of the “Big Island,” the iconic Mauna Kea Resort is comprised of the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel – an Autograph Collection by Marriott, The Westin Hapuna Beach Resort and two championship golf courses. Originally opened in 1965, the Mauna Kea Resort is owned by Japan’s Seibu Holdings.
Mauna Kea Residences currently manages 35 residences within Mauna Kea Resort along with an additional 85 residences in the homecare program. The luxurious residences range from 2 to 7-bedroom condos, townhomes and estates, many offering private pools, lanai spaces for outdoor relaxation and panoramic ocean, golf course and mountain views.
Owner and guest amenities include exclusive access to two pristine Big Island beaches, two stunning pools, the award-winning seaside tennis club, two fitness centers, two golf courses and several exceptional restaurants as well as The Mauna Kea Spa by Mandara, which offers a combination of Balinese and Hawaii-inspired therapies.
To lead the Mauna Kea Residences, East West Hospitality has promoted Steve Dowling to serve as the Director of Property Management Services & General Manager. Dowling previously served as General Manager for the Canyons Grand Summit Owners Association in Park City, Utah.
